Lyrics:

Blessed are You O Lord our God
Eternity’s holy King
Blessed are You O Lord our God
Whose Word bring on the evening

Bar’chu et Adonai ham’vorach l’olam vaed
Bar’chu et Adonai ham’vorach l’olam vaed [Blessed be God, the blessed one, forever and ever]

By wisdom O Lord
Heaven’s gates open up
With understanding You order the seasons
Creating day and night
Turning darkness into light
Arranging the stars to Your pleasing

Bar’chu et Adonai ham’vorach l’olam vaed
Bar’chu et Adonai ham’vorach l’olam vaed [Blessed be God, the blessed one, forever and ever]

O blessed be the King
To the Holy One we sing
Lord of Hosts is Your name
O everliving God rule over us
Now and forever the same

Psalm 139 Verse 23 Explained

Image
VERSE OF THE DAY SCRIPTURE  Psalm 139:23 (KJV) "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:" This powerful verse is a heartfelt prayer from David, asking God to examine his heart, understand his innermost thoughts, and reveal anything in his life that needs to change. EXPLANATION  1. "Search me, O God" – Invite God to Examine Your Life David begins with a simple but powerful request: "Search me, O God." He is inviting God to look deeply into his life, beyond what people can see on the outside. Many times, we are more concerned about how others see us than how God sees us. We want people to think we are kind, honest, loving, patient, and spiritually strong. However, our outward appearance does not always reflect what is happening inside our hearts. We may smile in public while secretly battling jealousy, anger, bitterness, pride, unforgiveness, or unhealthy desires. We may appear spiritually committed while allowing...
