Matthew 10:20 (KJV)

"For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you."


EXPLANATION ✨

Matthew 10:20 is a powerful verse spoken by Jesus Christ to His disciples before sending them out to preach the Gospel. At that time, Jesus warned them that they would face opposition, persecution, rejection, and difficult situations because of their faith. However, He also encouraged them not to be afraid because God would help them speak wisely when the time came. 💡

The verse says:

“For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.”

This simply means that believers are not alone when facing difficult conversations, challenges, or moments where they need wisdom. God’s Holy Spirit helps and guides them on what to say. 🕊️

Many people become nervous when speaking about their faith, defending the truth, or facing pressure from others. Jesus understood this human fear. That is why He reminded His followers that God Himself would give them the right words at the right time. What an amazing promise! 🙌
