Ezekiel 36:26 (KJV):
“And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” 💖


EXPLANATION

This powerful verse from the book of Ezekiel carries a message of transformation, renewal, and divine intervention. It speaks directly to the condition of the human heart—not the physical organ, but the spiritual center of our thoughts, emotions, and decisions.

When God says, “I will give you a new heart”, He is promising a complete inner change. Many times, people try to change their behaviour from the outside—trying harder, making resolutions, or forcing discipline. But God is saying here that true change begins from within. 🙌

The phrase “a new spirit will I put within you” means that God doesn’t just improve us—He renews our nature entirely. This new spirit aligns us with His will, giving us the desire and ability to live differently. It’s not just about doing good things; it’s about becoming a new person from the inside out.

Now, consider the next part: “I will take away the stony heart”. A stony heart represents a heart that is hard, unresponsive, stubborn, and resistant to God. It is a heart that may feel no conviction, no compassion, and no sensitivity to truth. Many people today struggle with this without even realizing it—being emotionally numb, spiritually disconnected, or unwilling to change. 😔
