Romans 3:23-24 (KJV):

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:"


✨ EXPLANATION

This powerful passage from the book of Romans delivers one of the most important truths in the entire Bible. It begins with a bold and universal statement: “For all have sinned”. This means that no one is exempt — regardless of status, background, or good deeds. Every human being has fallen short of God's perfect standard. 🙏

The phrase “come short of the glory of God” emphasizes that sin separates us from God's perfection. God's glory represents His holiness, righteousness, and divine nature. As humans, we cannot reach that standard on our own, no matter how hard we try. This realization is not meant to condemn us, but to help us understand our need for something greater — God’s grace. 💡

Verse 24 then brings incredible hope: “Being justified freely by his grace”. The word “justified” means to be declared righteous or made right with God. And the key word here is “freely” — we cannot earn it. It is a gift! 🎁
