Matthew 19 Verse 26 Explained

VERSE OF THE DAY SCRIPTURE:

“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” — Matthew 19:26 (KJV)

EXPLANATION:

Matthew 19:26 is one of the most powerful reminders in the Bible about the unlimited ability of God. In this verse, Jesus is speaking to His disciples after a rich young man walked away sad because he was not willing to give up his wealth to follow Jesus. The disciples were confused and wondered, “If rich people—who are seen as blessed—can’t easily enter God’s kingdom, then who can?” Jesus responded with this profound statement: “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” 🔥

What Jesus meant is simple and encouraging: There are things humans cannot achieve on their own, no matter how smart, strong, rich, or talented they may be. But God is not limited the way we are. He can do what looks impossible. He can change hearts, open doors that seem permanently shut, provide solutions we never imagined, and give strength when we feel completely weak.

For a 10th grader, think of it this way: Imagine a math problem that seems so hard you almost give up. Or a challenge at home, at school, or in your personal life that feels too heavy to handle. You might think, “There’s no way this can work.” But God looks at the same situation and says, “This is nothing for Me.” 💪✨

Jesus wants us to understand that our limitations are not God’s limitations. When we trust in Him, rely on Him, and surrender our fears, He can take over and do what we could never do by ourselves.

This verse also reminds us that entering the Kingdom of God is not about human effort. We can’t earn salvation by being “good enough.” It is only possible through God’s grace. Salvation itself is a miracle—something only God can make possible through Jesus. ❤️

So whenever you face challenges that make you feel stuck, remember Matthew 19:26. It is God’s way of whispering, “Don’t limit Me.” He is the God who makes the impossible possible—academically, financially, spiritually, emotionally, and even in relationships.

SELF REFLECTION:

🤔✨ Think about your life right now—what situation feels impossible to solve? Is it a problem at school? A personal struggle? A family issue? Or maybe a dream that feels too big to reach?

If you handed that situation to God today, what do you think He could do with it?
