Judges 6:12 (KJV)
“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.”

EXPLANATION 💡

In this verse, we meet Gideon, a man who didn’t see himself as strong or brave. The Israelites were being oppressed by the Midianites, and Gideon was secretly threshing wheat in a winepress to hide it from them. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared and called him a “mighty man of valour.”

Now, that might sound strange — Gideon didn’t feel mighty or courageous at all. He was scared, hiding, and unsure of himself. But here’s the key lesson: God doesn’t see us as we are; He sees us as what we can become through Him. 🙌

When the angel said, “The Lord is with thee,” it wasn’t just a greeting — it was a powerful reminder that Gideon was not alone. Even though he felt small, God’s presence made him strong.
